ArtPlus Digital Photo Recovery can find those special moments on memory cards that have been erased or even damaged. Although the software does its job well and in an intuitive manner, its interface feels outdated and leaves room for improvement. Pros Straightforward workflow: While ArtPlus Digital Photo Recovery is nothing fancy to look at, its flow is well thought out and made very straightforward. Regardless of whether you use the Basic or Advanced mode, you're never overwhelmed with options.

Fast and efficient: In our tests we scanned a 64GB SD card for photos, videos, and audio files in a little over 11 minutes. Disk image support: If the card you're recovering data from is slow, you can create a virtual disk image of the card on your PC and let the software scan it instead. This will greatly speed up the process. Cons No previews for audio and video files: Currently, there is no way of previewing an audio recording or a movie right from the memory card. Outdated interface: The app looks and feels very Windows XP and doesn't blend well with newer, modern apps. Crippled trial version: All photos recovered with the trial version are watermarked with the app's name.

While this may work for removing documents and other written data, it won't sit well in a frame on a shelf. Winning Eleven 2000 Psx Iso Torrent. Bottom Line While testing ArtPlus Digital Photo Recovery, we were left with the feeling that this software is strictly a utility -- it does its job and then you close it with no real desire to look at it again until you need it.

Reply by nevenp on August 7, 2013 Hi, Thank you for your CNET review. Thank you for mentioning quick and competent support but you missed the point of me sending you to PixToolz.com. Namely, you were looking for a similar free solution and I offered you one. I honestly don't think I deserve such a treatment just for trying to be nice. I would probably do better by saying that support is available only to registered users. As for our program, you can't write about it because you never obtained the full license.

As far as I can tell from your review, you have seen preview files and would get your files recovered if you would have paid. Anyway I really didn't expect such reaction.

Reply by nevenp on February 21, 2012 1. 'rip off - won't do anything unless you pay' So what's new?

It does say the price is $24.95, doesn't it? 'Pros: none at all' Have you paid to try? If not, then you're a liar and simply a person with malicious intent, nothing more. This is not a review but a personal attack (had a bad night?).

'you can't uninstall it' Right. I guess you didn't realize it comes without installer as a single file that you double click to run. So, surprise. NOTHING TO UNINSTALL THERE!

'avoid at all costs probably a virus' What's that 'probably' for? It's either virus or it's not. Actually, you don't care. As long as you have a place to spill your gut, you're fine.

I reported your post to CNET. I already know they're not going to remove it but I decided to follow the procedure. You did manage to do one thing though. We've had enough of CNET rating system too.
