How To Install Waves Plugins In Pro Tools 12How To Install Waves Plugins In Pro Tools 12

Just updated from PT8 and have alot of stuff only available as vst/au. Thank you tho! Is there any way to work around this? Surely there must be?

Software, converter, anything. That really worksi do not think there is any kind of Wrapper for Waves plugins. But BlueCat makes one that wraps VST and AU i think. I take it your Waves WUP is way out of date. Fyi: i just updated mine for 300.00 total for all plugins. Not sure what yours would be so you could get the AAX update. Cheers johnThe Blue Cat s/w you're talking about is either Patchwork or MB7-2 and it's NOT a wrapper but a plugin host - there's a difference. Wrappers modify the original code and a host does something different - it hosts the original s/w without actually modifying the code. Avid doesn't allow wrappers for it's aax format plugins. And I no longer work there so. That's the problem. But as I said - I use loads of plugins that are not available as AAX either way, incl. So I do have a big problem, even if I do get a new WUP.

So - you guys say PT doesn't allow wrappers. But does it allow hosts? Such as Bluecat? + Anybody tried/heard of this?

+ Anybody tried/heard of this? Don't know about DDMF. But yes - PT does allow hosts such as the Blue Cat stuff we are talking about. They do have free demos of their s/w; the limitation of the demo is it goes silent for a few seconds every so often. Don't know about DDMF. So does it works like a plugin hub? As in a channel insert, and then you choose the vst plugin inside the Bluecat and it'll process the sound instantly? In that case it won't be able to read waveshell tho? It's just that the only actual Waves vst & vst3 FILE is the waveshell. That's pointing at the bundle. Sorry if this comes off as completely stupid. But what I mean is - I can't seem to reach them on their own, one & one.

Everything processes just fine subject to any of the usual plugin latency which PT should be able to take care of. Do be aware of one thing - the Blue Cat s/w won't bridge 32 bit plugins to 64 bit. Bdcraft Cubik Pro Download. For that you need a bitbridge and for that there's jbridge for Windows and jbridgeMac for OSX and vst format plugins. There's also 32Lives!

It all sounds very promising then. I'll try as soon as I get a chance & report here how things went. I use AS alot when it comes to CPU heavy stuff that really doesn't benefit from real-time processing. As in tuning, noise reduction etc.

But I can always just record the stuff to make a file, sure, it's just that it's time consuming and annoying:/ I'll look into the WUP too! Only thing is that I got the W9 from a studio where I worked, the last version I bought myself was like W6 I think. So not sure what the WUP deal is there.I'm wondering about something - the W9 you got from the studio - was that a legal purchase or did you just download it from the studio? If the latter then that's not legal.

So your WUP would be from your W6 purchase but the money would still be the same which, depending on how many plugins you have caps out at $300 (I think) if all plugins are on one machine. The license is allowed and can be installed on more than 1 unit, and since I was doing work for them both on their HDs and my own laptop they gave me the pack So the W9 doesn't have anything to do with my WUP, it'd be the W6 in that case,I know that much. But I'll have to get the Patchwork either way, because of all the other VSTs.

And maybe that'll be enough. I'd say I'll know in a month or two. Bakemonogatari 1 15 Sub Thai Idia. Oh it was legal ofcourse! Didn't know Waves had or has a multi-seat license deal. Patchwork is a good deal and if you're on a Mac and need a bitbridge for au plugins BlueCat has a combo deal with Patchwork and SoundRadix 32Lives! Just be aware the Patchwork doesn't do bit-bridging on it's own - you need a separate program for that.

Will make sure to try out the demos proper on various bit & vst/au combinations before purchasing.
